The InternationalA 2009 movie titled “The International” provides a rare look at what goes on, “behind the curtain” at the shady, criminal dealings of some of the world’s largest and most powerful banks.   What is revealed may be hard to face but it is essential to be aware of.

In the movie, Interpol Agent Louis Salinger and Manhattan Assistant District Attorney Eleanor Whitman are determined to bring to justice one of the world’s most powerful banks after uncovering illegal activities including money laundering, arms trading, and the destabilization of governments.

The following truth is revealed in the 2009 film ‘The International’ inspired by the Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI) scandal.

The message in the movie and in life is clear: control the debt of conflict and you control everything.

Following is a transcript from the movie of an interview conducted by Eleanor with Calvini, head of the bank IBBC which illustrates the point:

  • Calvini: “No, this is not about making profit from weapon sales.  It’s about control.”
  • Eleanor: “Control the flow of weapons, control the conflict?”
  • Calvini: “No. No No. The IBBC is a bank. Their objective isn’t to control the conflict, it’s to control the debt that the conflict produces. You see, the real value of a conflict – the true value – is in the debt that it creates. You control the debt, you control everything. You find this upsetting, yes?  But this is the very essence of the banking industry, to make us all, whether we be nations or individuals, slaves to debt.”

Although the text above is from a movie, the truth it contains is chilling. Many (including myself) have written imagesabout those “behind the curtain” whose nefarious intentions and actions are designed to elicit total planetary control . . . with them in control and us as the slaves!  This is ongoing and obvious to those who really care to look.  It is hard to face.  Most people don’t have the testicularity to face such things.  Yet they are happening right now.  Our unwillingness to face up to it only allows it to continue as we “go on hoping” it will all go away.  The “sweetness and light” attitude will not work.  This is a war and if we don’t win, we will be slaves and our freedoms will have been lost due to our own neglect and fear.

Previously I have writen, “The price of freedom is never too great – when the cost of indifference is so dear.

Those words are never more true than today.  Take heed.  You may never get another chance.  Your future and the future of this planet and every man, woman and child on it depends on what you do now.  The wrong thing to do is nothing.

You can stop being debt slaves by living humbly within your means.  Walk away from that depreciating house and car and rent or live with relatives, carpool, ride a bicycle, or use public transit.  Eat at home. Pack a sack lunch.  Resist buying next season’s fashion.  Cancel the gym and country club memberships, satellite/cable TV, and reduce your mobile rate plan.  Pay off those credit cards and cut them up permanently. Use Credit Unions rather than commercial banks if possible.  Get out and help your neighbor plant and maintain a garden for some temporary peace of mind.  Then we get our local, state, and federal government’s houses in order.

Becoming a slave to debt is still slavery by any other name.  It is up to you to decide if you want to be forever a slave or not.
